Bridges to Housing Stability could not provide a fraction of its services without our volunteers. Bridges considers volunteers to be the backbone, foundation, and heart of our organization. We welcome individuals that share our passion to prevent and end homelessness in Howard County to support this community and give back through volunteering opportunities with Bridges which include:
- Prepare or repair Bridges Alliance housing units for client turnover
- Support client move-in/move-out
- Become a Circle of Support ally for Bridges Alliance households
- Provide event childcare support at client learning seminars
- Participate in a Bridges committee
- Provide office administrative support
- Help with special events and celebrations
- Give pro-bono legal, accounting or financial advising
- Provide event services such as catering or photography
- Assist with Thanksgiving/Holiday gifts delivery
