2026 Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week Art Project

Each year, Bridges honors Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week with a student art project: “Everyone in Howard County Deserves a Home”
Students are asked to create artwork showing what home means to them, and how it may feel to not have a home to go to at night. During H&H Week, the week before Thanksgiving, artwork will be displayed at a Howard County Library.
In the 2025-2026 school year, over 900 HCPSS students experienced homelessness. Bridges to Housing Stability believes everyone in Howard County deserves a safe, stable, and affordable place to call home.
