Playing the Homelessness Blame Game

This week the Supreme Court heard arguments in City of Grants Pass, Oregon v. Johnson. Their ruling won’t be released for some time, but homeless advocates throughout the country are worried because the case will determine if cities can fine or incarcerate people for being homeless and sleeping outside, even if a shelter bed or other housing is not available.

A Heartening Look Back Over the Year

As a child and young adult, I created scrapbooks to faithfully document significant moments. At the end of each year, I’d look back through the book and remember all the highlights.
