The Housing Connections Program is an expansion of the Landlord Engagement Program that was started in 2016. The goal of Housing Connections is to connect low- to moderate-income families with landlords who are willing to provide affordable rental housing. This results in stable housing for families, timely rent payments, a liaison for both parties, and support through routine home visits to check in on both the tenant and the unit. This housing program is one of the ways Bridges provides a path to self-sufficiency to prevent and end homelessness in Howard County.
Bridges considers volunteers to be the backbone, foundation and heart of the organization.
We would not be able to achieve any of our goals without the support of our donors. We are enormously grateful for all of our supporters.
Bridges recognizes the crucial significance of working in partnership with the many corporations and community organizations that support our mission.
