10th Annual Chili Cook-Off (POSTPONED)

After careful thought and consideration, Bridges to Housing Stability has decided to postpone the 10th Annual “Hotter than Thou” Chili Cook-Off until Fall 2020. This decision was made after considering the health of all event participants and guests, the risk associated with hosting an event at this time and the likely negative effect on event turnout, as many people are choosing to avoid large crowds at this time. We will be sure to update this webpage as soon as a new date is selected. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and do hope that you will continue to support our final Chili Cook-Off!

Come enjoy Bridges’ family-friendly fiasco as we celebrate the 10th Annual Chili Cook-Off! Local congregations come together in a friendly competition to raise awareness and funds for Bridges’ programs which support those experiencing homelessness and housing instability. Participating congregations will enter their best chili in hopes of winning an award, especially the coveted Golden Ladle! As always, we will have local celebrity judges selecting the winning congregations.

Guests will have the opportunity to taste each congregations’ chili and give tips to their favorite chili. There will also be opportunities to win an exciting raffle prize and fabulous silent auction items. All proceeds will help support Bridges to Housing Stability’s housing programs which provide affordable housing and supportive services to those experiencing homelessness or housing instability.

10740 Route 108, Ellicott City, MD 21042
